Position: Senior Quality/ Supplier Development Engineer

Overseeing all Quality Engineering requirements internally and responsible for the evaluation, selection, control and measurement of quality
processes across a broad spectrum of suppliers.

You will support the outsourcing of products ensuring Quality, Operational, Process Improvement and Product Development and projects are implemented in an efficient and

effective manner that minimizes risk and assures equivalent Quality levels are maintained.

Key responsibilities:

· Liaising with the Manufacturing and Quality engineers in the Business Units, in assessing and addressing quality issues.

· Planning & implementation of Internal quality audits and management of the relevant corrective & preventative action processes in line with ISO 9001& customer requirements.

· Lead all relevant activities on the New Product Introduction & Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and support its implementation including the development of Incoming Inspection criteria.

· Implement and develop mechanisms to monitor and identify all internal & supplier non-conformance trends.

· Track supplier quality performance measurements for suppliers (KPI's) and participate in supplier performance reviews.

· Support to internal DFMEA/PFMEA activities and ensure that all relevant potential failure modes have been identified and addressed.

· Manage and drive continuous improvement activities focusing on improving internal and supplier quality controls.

Supplier Development responsibilities:

· Planning & implementation of Supplier quality audits and management of the required corrective and preventative action processes.

· Liaise with Procurement & Quality managers to develop and execute Supplier Development Programmes such as: Supplier Sourcing; Supplier Approval List; Supplier
Management, etc.

· Manage Supplier Change Requests.

· Review  and approve validation of new/changed production processes in preferred Suppliers as required.

· Ensure Supplier packaging standards meet all Environmental & Quality assurance requirements to ensure the safe transition of all purchased parts.

Required Qualifications/ Knowledge/ Skills:

You will have a Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or Quality.

Experience in an operations role, SQE, Quality Engineering role in a high volume manufacturing environment.

Strong project management capabilities with the ability to plan, organize and implements multiple concurrent tasks.

Strong team member with the ability to identify and drive quality improvements.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Good technical and analytical skills with high level of PC skills.

Knowledge and experience of process validation.

Desired Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:

Experience in GMP manufacturing environment in Engineering industry would be advantageous.

A certified ISO auditor in a regulated environment.

Experience of Lean Systems.


Position: Quality Engineer

The primary function of this role is to provide Quality Engineering support to Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Production, and Product
Development departments in Dromone. This includes providing support to process validation, non-conforming product issues, CAPA, Design and Process FMEA, and
associated Quality System Documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Liaising directly with OEM Customers in regard to New Production Introduction & PPAP requirements to ensure right first time.

- Provide effective and responsive Quality Engineering
support to Operations to resolve in-house, customer and supplier issues.

- Provide Quality Engineering support to the Purchasing, Quality, Production and Engineering departments
when required from Incoming Quality Control to Final Quality Control processes.

- Provide input and support to company QMS for the Non-Conforming Product Process, and for corrective and
Preventive Actions process (CAPA).

- Drive and implement plant wide quality system improvements.

- Carry out internal Quality Audits in line with ISO & customer requirements and participate in external audits when

- Review of warranty related returns from customer and liaising with relevant personnel re approval or rejection of
corresponding warranty claims.

- Calibration- ensuring all measuring equipment is correctly calibrated and maintained to
required ISO standards.

 - Implementation and review of Quality Processes and Procedures and if necessary proposing modifications
or additional procedures in relevant areas e.g. Quality Control Plans.


Familiar with ISO 9001 standards

Experience of APQP/ PPAP systems in a manufacturing environment

Good Communication Skills

Ability to work on own Initiative

Customer Focus (Internal and External)


Bachelors Degree qualification (Manufacturing/ Quality).

2-5 years relevant industry experience required

I.T. Proficient e.g. Microsoft Word, excel, PowerPoint.

Knowledge of CMM measuring equipment.


Position: Quality Technician

Maintain Quality standards by ensuring the quality of products via inspection of incoming materials, in process
production and finished products before they are released for dispatch.

Quality Technician Job Duties:

- Approves incoming materials by confirming specifications when required; conducting
visual and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.

- Communication off Non-conformance reports to relevant Suppliers and ensuring timely follow up from suppliers on
immediate containment actions required.

- Ensuring production staff are adhering to set manufacturing procedures, and records are completed correctly, in
assistance with the relevant Production Team Leaders.

- Carry out internal Quality Audits in line with ISO & customer requirements and participate in external audits when

- Approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and
measurement tests; returning products for re-work to relevant departments;
validation of re-work on completion.

- Documents inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and
waste; inputting data into quality management system.

- Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions;
calling for repairs and carrying out calibration when and where required.

- Adheres to company Safety, Health & Environmental Policies and Procedures.

- Reports to Senior Quality Engineer on daily basis for review of job requirements
and feedback on task completion.

- Liaises cross functionally with design and process engineering teams, customer
service, and production teams to resolve in-house, customer and supplier
quality issues.

- Assists with New Product Introduction Processes & APQP requirements to ensure
right first time standards are achieved.

Requirements for Role:

Familiar with ISO 9001 standards

Suitable Degree Educated or relatable quality experience.

Good organisational skills.

Good communications and interpersonal skills dealing with other departments.

Computer literacy in standard windows office and engineering programs.

Good eye for detail.

Ability to understand and interpret engineering/manufacturing drawings.

Promoting process improvement.


Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Programmer

Job Function: To program, manage and produce machined parts by programming, setting up
CNC machinery, maintain quality and safety standards, keeping records,
maintaining equipment and consumables in a busy and fast paced manufacturing

Key responsibilities include:

Plan machining by work schedules.

Programming CNC machinery by entering instructions, including zero references positions. Ability to program off
line using Master CAM.

Set up machines for continuous production runs.

Ability to read and interpret drawings and knowledgeable in geometric dimensioning and tolerances.

Knowledgeable with tool / insert selection and utilizing the correct feeds and speeds.

Good knowledge of dimensional measuring instrumentations and use of such tools to verify actual measurements of
machined dimensions and features.

Adhering to quality procedures and process-familiar with ISO 9001: 2008.

Maintain continuity between work shifts by communicating actions,
irregularities with supervisor and fellow operators.

Document actions by completing production and
quality logs.

Skills and experience required:

At least 3 to 5 years experience from a similar machining environment, with excellent functional and technical skills. 4th
axis line boring and milling.

Knowledge of Mazatrol Fusion, Master Cam, Reinshaw probing system, and Fanuc based ISO.

Need to have good computer skills, particularly in Excel.

Good attention to detail.

Planning & problem solving abilities.


Mazatrol experience is an advantage

Ideal industry background: automotive

Working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques & principles and 5S.
